Our story begins in September 1998, when James met Chris in New Orleans, Louisiana. Chris was working for a national insurer on their catastrophe team, and had been assigned to NOLA for a storm that has passed through. James was visiting friends – who happened to be Chris’s roommates – and a side trip was planned. The rest is – as they say – history.
In February 1999, Chris came to visit Australia, where sites were seen, and roads were driven (on the other side). In March that year, after two weeks of checking out what Australia had to offer, Chris returned to the USA, with James in tow – everything packed into two suitcases.
In 2001, we moved into our first home together. As the years passed by, we added a couple of dogs to the family, established our roots in the City of Frisco (TX), James graduated from college and started his job with a nonprofit, Chris served on a variety of city committees, including the planning and zoning commission.
After ten years, we moved to our new home, again in Frisco. As the years continued to move forward we said goodbye to our first dogs, and welcomed our second dogs and cat. We traveled, we socialized and we developed some great friends over the years.
And here we are, two husbands traveling and doing the things we love. We hope to connect soon.
